Food Technology

Technology is taught throughout the school, including the 6^th form.  Pupils have the opportunity to gain an Entry Level award at the end of year 11 in both Food Studies and DT.  At key stage 5 the department also contributes to the ASDAN Youth Award.  The old DT room has recently been improved with new work benches while the Food Technology room has been completely re-equipped with modern kitchen facilities and work stations.  Pupils enjoy the practical aspects of these two areas and look forward to showing what they have produced to their friends, school staff and from time to time, the whole school in assembly.
