Science

Science at Little Heath is a thriving department, staffed by enthusiastic teachers keen to share their enthusiasm and knowledge with the pupils. A wide variety of activities are available to encourage pupils to achieve their maximum potential. ICT is enjoyed by pupils in a variety of ways in Science, ranging from data-logging experiments to presentation of work and educational games. The department has a growing collection of living animals and plants, which are a major focus of interest. We are proud of all of our pupils achievements. At key stage four all year 11 pupils gained an Entry Level qualification last year, and 33% of pupils gained GCSE Science. A qualified technician who prepares resources and maintains our two laboratories in excellent condition supports pupils and staff.
