About Us

The Speech and Language Therapy Department is funded for four days per week by the Redbridge Primary Care Trust to provide an innovative service for the school . The school staff and speech therapists work closely to provide a whole school approach.

The aims of the speech and language therapy service is to:

  • Support the educational staff in setting up an environment whereby students with a different range of skills can achieve functional communication aims and become more independent citizens within their social environments

  • To collaboratively work with educational staff to provide strategies and techniques suitable for the students to achieve and access the lessons

How will students have access to the service?

The Speech and Language Therapy Service will be accessible through different care pathways (CP) depending on the complexity of needs and level of support

CP2

CP3
