Challenge Partners is an organisation of schools led by teachers who work together to improve outcomes for all pupils and reduce educational inequality. Little Heath School is part of the London Special and AP (Alternative Provision) Hub. Each year our work is reviewed by our colleagues in Challenge Partners schools. An Ofsted-trained Lead Reviewer and two other reviewers spend three days with us, looking at our Self Evaluation Forms and our School Improvement and Development Plan, observing lessons, looking at pupils’ work books and talking to colleagues and young people. Together with the Head teacher and senior staff of the school they write a report focusing on the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, outcomes for learners and school improvement strategies.
Our current report is attached here. It shows that our teaching and learning is estimated to be Good, outcomes for learners Good and school improvement strategies Outstanding. The overall estimate is that Little Heath is at the top end of the Good judgement, moving towards Outstanding.
