Mr P. Johnson - The head teacher
Welcome.
My name is Peter Johnson and I am the head teacher of Little Heath School. I have been in post since September 2000 and it is a position I feel extremely privileged to have. To be able to work with wonderful children, parents, staff and governors is truly an honour.
Little Heath is a successful and well established school for children aged 11-19 with a wide range of needs including moderate and severe learning difficulties as well as Autistic Spectrum disorders. We have 140 children on site and support around 200 in mainstream settings.
The school has an excellent reputation and has a highly skilled and dedicated staff team who work together to ensure all children experience an exciting curriculum tailored to meet their individual needs. As a result there is a safe, caring and supportive ethos that enables them to be happy at school and achieve well in their learning.
I hope our web site will enable you to find out more about the school. Please feel free to phone the school if you would like more information or come for a visit.
We look forward to hearing from you
Peter Johnson
