Mr J. Brownlie - The head teacher
My name is James Brownlie and I am the new head teacher of Little Heath School. I am very proud to be able to lead this school with its wonderful children, parents, staff and governors.
Little Heath is a successful and well established school for children aged 11-19 with a wide range of needs including moderate and severe learning difficulties as well as Autistic Spectrum disorders. We have over 140 children on site and support around 200 in mainstream settings. The current numbers are planned to rise as we expand our Sixth form provision in response to local needs.
The school has an excellent reputation locally and beyond. It has a highly skilled and dedicated staff team who work together to ensure all children experience an exciting curriculum tailored to meet their individual needs. As a result there is a safe, caring and supportive ethos that enables them to be happy at school and achieve well in their learning.
I hope our web site will enable you to find out more about the school. Please feel free to phone us if you would like more information or to arrange a visit.
We look forward to hearing from you
